To Box or not to Box
Despite my passion for fitness and the gym, Boxing is also a great form of exercise for everyone. Which brings me to whats happening in London town as there is a world class boxing gym that looks ridiculously good!
BXR London is a state-of-the-art training facility that joins a growing list of snazzy boutique gyms, and this one looks more like a designer celebrity hangout than a sweat box. So the site is spread across 1,115 square-metres, equipped with 6 metre high ceilings, a juice bar, industrial finished facilities and a various selection of fitness equipment.
Bergman Interiors co-founder, who consulted over the design stated that
“BXR is a real showcase in the boxing world. We are reflecting the history, the glamour and the craftsmanship of the sport.”
“We used a rich blend of backlit dark tinted mirror, bronze accents along with warm Cognac-coloured leather.”
The aim behind BXR London was to create a boxing space that is both paying homage to the sport whilst being unintimidating to those who have never been inside a boxing gym before. Members can enjoy BXR’s in-house clinic, indulge in juice from Joe & The Juice’s custom menu (who just seem to be everywhere), or simply admire the cool decor complete with murals. Its an experience and one you probably havent sampled just yet but well worth trying it out.
However – let me just inform you that the membership is a whopping £180 per month! The Lifestyle Rebel opinion on that is – it should include 1-1 time with Floyd Mayweather and Mike tyson followed by Thai massages with a three course meal for that price!!
As always #livebetter
