Do you use Fitness Apps in 2017?

Over the past year, several fitness trends have emerged. People are actually starting to give a damn about themselves a whole lot more.

 

One thing that’s certain? Fitness will remain the top extracurricular activity for millennials, and the future of technology will have a major impact on the top trends of 2017.

In 2017, specifically, we see the wellness experience becoming even more mobile, so on a phone, app, or tracker, to keep up with the everyday mans crazy schedule and life.

Your phone has become a big part of helping you get the most out of your workouts

 

  1. Apps will become way more user-friendly

Apps are becoming easier to use and moving away from just counting calories or tracking fitness. Now allowing users to take pictures of their healthy foods and interact with other likeminded people. Motivating one another to reach goals, personal coaching and meal-delivery-service partnerships. Its much easier to build a community and stick your fitness goals now.

  1. Online Personal Trainers

Accessibility – I love that word. More people are finding online workout programs that they can use no matter where they are. It allows people easy access on their time and at their level. People are actually finding these apps on their phone that gears them into exercising and becoming part of a community.

  1. Adventurous Fitness App

Many are getting a little tired of the same old fitness apps. Finding adventurous ways to get your fitness on. Technology has opened up a whole new category of fitness besides just taking your workouts outdoors with bikes or hiking excursions. Now many apps are gamified and story-led, which keeps you entertained while you workout!

Recommended Apps: TRACKS – RUNTASTIC – ZOMBIE 

 

  1. Meditation 

Now Im definitely not a big fan of the meditation thing – not that I don’t believe in it, its just that I like the word contemplation.

Whenever I feel like reflecting on life, on my goals, objectives or anything of that nature. I just find a quiet spot and just do just that. Im not sure how an app would help in that case but hey the tech world has it all!

    I used an app that claimed to give 6 pack abs in 42 days, it was easy to use and and I liked it. Even though I could not complete the training of 42 days with it, and although I feel it won’t have fulfilled its claims either, but one thing I got from it is it is good to use fitness apps, they can surely help you maintain your exercise activity and you can also learn many exercises from various such apps.

    We should grateful that we live in the time with advanced technology. Out of all the list you’ve mentioned, I’m curious about Meditation app. I’ll check the app you reckon.

    Great Post!! Technology is a great thing these days, wish we had all this when we were young. I try to get out and do some running, but my little Witches take all my time up.

    I recently tried Headspace and I am slowly warming to it. I do like the idea of contemplation rather than meditation like you x

    I have to say I’m usually skeptical when it comes to these fitness apps that promise miraculous results in short spaces of time. Having said that one much admit that technology has evolved so much and anything seems possible.

    Online personal trainers sound like a good deal. I remember having a personal trainer but it was difficult matching schedules with her and I don’t remember having a good memory of that. http://www.clairebearblogs.com

    It’s sad that I am not physically active guy and seldom do exercises haha but I once used that speedometer app but I don’t know if that counts haha

    Every time I think all of the cool apps have already been invented, I realize just how wrong I am. I’m loving the idea of a fitness app. Especially for the days when I’m not able to make it to the gym and want something quick that I can do at home. Can’t wait to check out some in the space of online personal trainers!

    Looks like great apps for the fitness buff. I don’t usually have apps on my phone, only those that I use for my blog and my business. I may look into the Meditation app. Might be useful during the weekend, when everything is just slowing down.

    I’ve used things like map my run to monitor how long routes are taking me but that’s about it x

    What a coincidence you wrote about this. My husband was talking with someone at the gym yesterday and they were telling him all about a fitness app fr hit training. I will direct him t this post to have a read now too. Thanks hun 😉

    I love the idea of an online personal trainer. I go to the gym but I can’t afford a personal trainer and I do need a personalised routine to reach my goals and someone to motivate me. That app would be perfect for me.

    many friends and even my nutritionist have recommended or use a fitness and wellbeing app, related to food, exercises, fitness. those you point out are new to me.
    meditation apps… well, come on… when it comes to meditation we shouldn’t use the mobile at all!

    I never use fitness apps. I think so as the time will move on the synchronisation between the fitness and the mobile phone will grow up by the time even a normal person can afford and smartphone which can help in fitness

    I do not have an exercise routine, and I don’t go to the gym to exercise. I do walk and bike a lot. I have heard about fitness apps and I would most likely recommend them to friends and family who are fitness buffs. I would be interested in them too if I were younger.

    I’ve tried so many different fitness apps and bracelets and all of that stuff, but nothing has really stuck yet. I guess I will have to keep looking!

    I love fitness apps! They are so helpful and productive. There are some awesome calorie and fitness apps that help us eat healthy and lose weight.

    Technology is helping us in many ways and fitness is great part. I use miles I walked app in which I come to know how I walk per day. very helpful blog.

    I use meditation apps and yoga apps to keep track of my practice.

    great info you have in this post. I seriously have no idea about any fitness except Nike. I will check out the personal trainer and meditation app
