I definitely like my coffee in the morning – just look at my Instagram and you will see why.

Anyway Welcome Rebel nation – I swear this blog hustle is tough but worth it! And today I’m dropping a quick tip about adding something extra to your coffee.

So apart from the taste and the energy – you may be surprised to find out that it offers some positive health benefits. And by simply adding just a couple of natural ingredients you’ll not only have more energy, but you’ll also drop a few extra pounds.  I know that’s music to your ears fitness fam!

But now for the top tip – so here it is!

Coconut Oil & Cinnamon!! That’s it!  

You can now boost your metabolism and energy further by adding these two to your coffee.

You probably think – what about the taste, well for me it’s alright I had no problems with it but some of you fussy mofos might not like it. So maybe try it once a week then – and keep the coffee black!

THE WHY? (the short to the point version)

Coconut oil is fat but healthier and comprised almost entirely of medium chain fatty acids, which is different from other fats. Are you with me so far?

These fatty acids increase your metabolic rate and energy, reduces your appetite and a top ingredient to use for a fat burning coffee!

Coconut oil is classed as a “thermogenic”, it basically means that when you eat it, it increases the amount of fat burning going on in your body more so than the other oils.

Cinnamon is packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. And all that helps fight off infections and inflammation in the body.

  • It lowers blood sugar levels in the body .
  • It boosts metabolism and helps stop fat accumulating. By the way the best choice is always ceylon cinnamon.

So here is how you do it:

You can mix both ingredients and then add that to 1 teaspoon in your coffee in the morning. I recommend that you keep your coffee black – but it’s up to you.

Now your coffee will pack some serious punch, I’m doing this a few times during the week – because thats how I roll!

    anything with cinnamon is a go from me – and coconut oil is slowly replacing other fat sources in most of my food – I’d call this a double win!!

    Love the idea of coconut oil and cinnamon in coffee! And I so wish I could make coffee are like that 🙂

    Love this idea, gonna have to try it tomorrow morning. Too bad I can’t eliminate the other things I put in it, lol.
