Whether you’re trying to drop off the final five, or start losing the first ten pounds. Its the smallest adjustments that can make a huge dent in your waistline, if you stay committed

For example – these five easy ways to lose weight – but remember it is entirely up to you how you do it, I just thought ill drop some knowledge!

1. Take A Selfie

Finally, an excuse for all those shirtless selfies. According to some article I found on google (cant even remember when) taking a full-body photo of yourself once a month could help you drop body weight in a few months. The photos act as a reminder that healthy eating and regular workouts are worth it. And let’s be real you’re probably taking selfies anyway, so you might as well do it for the gains!

2. Almonds or Pistachios – take your pick

When the afternoon hunger monster hits, you’re at the mercy of whatever food you come across. In the office, that’s probably the blueberry muffin in the drawer, or pieces of cake leftover. Try to plan ahead of time by keeping a stash of almonds nearby. Snacking on nuts instead of carb-loaded snacks could lead to losing a cm from your belly in a few weeks.

3. Snack Before you Shop (Trust Me)

A rumbling stomach encourages unhealthy impulse buys at the supermarket – you know what I’m talking about right! You know that bakery smell near the cake section which pulls you in, is the most dangerous aisle of all if you want to lose weight! So try to have pieces of fruit before hitting the supermarket, because eating healthily first might subconsciously encourage healthy buys later – so give it a go.

4. Get your Sweat On

A standard weight loss program combines clean eating with regular gym sessions, but if you’re not already hitting the gym, just walking can kickstart your progress. So just start with a 30-minute stroll each day – come on you wont even drop a bead of sweat (I did tell you this is the lazy way to lose weight.)  But check out here why Jump Rope has so many benefits!

5. Slow your Roll!

Chew your food dammit!!! The more you do that the more time your brain has to register that your stomach is full. If you rush the process, you may end up stuffing yourself with extra calories. There’s also a second benefit to eating slowly. Your blood sugar rises in a more controlled way, instead of erratic spiking. So this will help keep your appetite in check throughout the day.

Now these are some seriously LAZY ways to help you lose some weight, without even doing that much. So while I tuck into this juicy steak with herbs – remember losing weight does take sacrifice and consistent effort. However, these 5 Lazy ways can get you started so go get it!

    Those are really good lazy ways to lose weight. I love snacking on almonds. They are filling and will help curb bad snacking. I agree with snacking before going to the store.

      well it takes really hard work to lose weight and when you look at any program for weight loss – this would be the lazy way cos it doesn’t take much effort at all

    Great post! You’re so right, often times we think losing weight has to be complicated, then the reality is the smallest of changes can really make a difference. I’m studying holistic nutrition and have learned the value of slowing down and chewing our food. Besides the benefits you mentioned, it also helps with digestion and the absorption of nutrients. Because at the end of the day, we’re not what we eat, but what we’re able to digest.

      100% agree with ali i literally tested that myself with chewing more and slowing dow a bit and i did notice a difference

    Losing and maintaing weight can be a daunting task and it required discipline and dedication in all areas like diet, excercice and lifestyle.
